This past week I saw something called 7 Days of Spring painting challenge. There were seven different flowers that were to be painted, and I thought it sounded like a good challenge to try...
The first two days I tried acrylic and liked it, but then decided that with my children around watercolor would be a better fit (less messy, Lillie was getting paint EVERYWHERE!) So, I switched to watercolors and then just redid the snowdrops and crocus'.
Everyday I would sketch the initial drawings and then during naptime I would hurry and whip out a quick watercolor sketch and study of the flowers. Personally, I think that the later paintings had some fun spunk to them!
Enjoy the journey!
